I was born in the market town of Ulverston in Cumbria and have lived there all my life.
I have always had an interest in photography and wildlife and decided the natural thing to do was to merge these two interests and so started my passion for Outdoor Photography.
Living where I do is a great help, with the Lake District on my doorstep supplying opportunities for Landscapes and the local countryside and surrounding area providing plenty of topics for my main interest wildlife photography.
As you browse the galleries you will see I enjoy all types of photography and in my spare time am rarely seen without a camera in my hand. I enjoy hiking in the Lake District and take the opportunities to capture what I see on camera, including local shows and sporting events including the Westmorland Agricultural Show, Cumbria Steam gathering, Hound Trailing and Grizedale Forest Rally.
Recently I got the chance to take photos for my local Rugby League team Barrow Raiders, and have had a few of my photos published in Rugby Leaguer & League Express. Galleries for most of their 2010 home games are posted after each game.
